Programme overview

What this programme covers

Procurement Operations starts where a new buyer does: the flow map from demand identified to supplier selected, PO issued, materials received. Chapter one covers procurement versus purchasing, the core cycle of PR, RFQ, comparison sheet, PO and delivery follow-up, the vocabulary (TCO, OTIF, MOQ, 3-way matching, landed cost, EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, GRN), every document you handle, from quotation to contract, SOW, NDA and vendor registration, and who is who across Planning, Production, Quality, Warehouse and Finance. Chapter two is the daily toolkit: ERP and supplier portals, an RFQ tracker, comparison sheets, fifteen email templates, the Procurement Control Tower worksheet — one row per transaction, PR to invoice — supplier relationship basics, and a day under pressure with Alex, a procurement specialist. Chapter three moves to the KPIs you are measured on, internal teams and advanced problem solving. Fifteen Storyline modules; a platform quiz at the end of each chapter, at 65%.

  3. 03The working vocabulary — TCO, landed cost, MOQ, 3-way matching, approved vendor list, GRN, EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP — and every document you handle, from quotation and comparison sheet to contract, SOW, NDA, vendor registration and inspection report
